The police detained Congress workerstoday who were protesting against the Goods and Services Tax(GST) in Surat for carrying out a rally without official permission.
The workers were dressed as characters from the Bollywood movie "Sholay".
They were detained by police for carrying air guns and not taking "necessary permission"from the authorities.

Police Inspector VJ Chaudhary of Salabatpura said: "We are taking us with them and a team is also coming to take stock of the situation."
