Two terrorists killed in infiltration bid along LoC in Kashmir’s Kupwara sector

In India's Kashmir, two terrorists were killed on Sunday (Sep 28) as the Indian armed forces busted an infiltration bid. The incident happened in the Keran sector of Kupwara in North Kashmir. According to information shared by WION correspondent Idrees Lone, security sources reported that the bodies of the two terrorists are visible at the operation site; however, with the ongoing operation, the retrieval remains pending and will be done at a later hour.

Rising number of infiltration attempts at LoC

The encounter underscores the persistent efforts of security forces to thwart infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC) in the region. A senior police official said that security forces successfully intercepted a group of terrorists attempting to infiltrate the Keran Sector of Kupwara district in North Kashmir near the Hyder post. During an intense firefight, two terrorists were neutralised. The identities of the deceased terrorists are currently under investigation as security personnel work to confirm their affiliations and backgrounds.
