Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav today was granted bail after getting sentenced to six months in prison by a Delhi court. Yadav is accused in a cheque bounce case.
On December 3, 2017, the actor was sent to Tihar Jail for submitting a false affidavit in the case.
According to reports, seven cases were lodged against the actor. Yadav is liable to pay a sum of Rs 1.60 crore as fine per case. Yadav told media that he respects the court's order and will appeal to reduce the punishment.
"I respect the court's judgement and will appeal in this matter to reduce the punishment," he said.
