Reportsthat Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx was left paralysed after getting a Covid vaccine shot are now being debunked. Afact check report by Healthfeedback.orgclaims that there is currentlyno evidence that actor Jamie Foxx has been left paralysed and blind due to a blood clot in the brain after a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine. While certain COVID-19 vaccines, notably those using viral vector technology like the AstraZeneca-Oxford and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines, are associated with a slightly elevated risk of developing blood clots, COVID-19 mRNA vaccines aren’t known to do the same. Numerous studies have shown that the risk of blood clotting disorders, as well as other health problems, is much higher after contracting the COVID-19 infection than after getting vaccinated against it.
It was earlier reported that Jamie Foxxsuffered partial paralysis following a COVID-19 vaccine complication. Reports suggested that the vaccine resulted in a blood clot in his brain, leadingtoterrifying health complications.
What led to initial reports?
Reports about the same first emerged after a gossip columnist said on a podcast that the vaccine had had an adverse effect on Foxx's health. "Jamie had a blood clot in his brain after he got the shot. He did not want the shot, but the movie he was on, he was pressured to get it," the journo reportedly said. “The blood clot in the brain caused him at that point to be partially paralysed and blind.”
Notably, Jamie Foxx's daughter, in an Instagram post on April 12, revealed that her father suffered a "medical condition" a day earlier and was now on the "way to recovery".Details of his deteriorating health conditions were kept under wraps in these months.
