Stars to host Met Gala red carpet live stream
Game of Thrones stars Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham will host the upcoming Met Gala red carpet live stream. The Vogue’s Met Gala will be a starry event with Emma Chamberlain to return as special correspondent. She will conduct red carpet interviews.
The festivities will kick off on May 6.
This year’s dress code is “The Garden of Time”. The theme is inspired by the 1962 short story of the same name by JG Ballard.
Zendaya, JLo and others to serve as Met Gala's co-chairs
Among the big names, Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, Bad Bunny and Anna Wintour will serve as the Met Gala’s co-chairs while the honourary chairs are creative director of Loewe, Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Chew.
This year will be special since the 2024 gala coincides with the opening of the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” and provides them with primary funding for future exhibits, publications, acquisitions, operations and capital improvements.
