She added, "I had to cast the only child who was a 5-year-old little girl who wouldn't cry, which was Viv (Vivienne)." In the particular project, 5-year-old Vivienne plays young Princess Aurora.

In the scene, Aurora approaches the dark fairy Maleficent, played by Jolie, in the forest. Maleficent tells her to go away because she does not like children, but the fearless little girl keeps smiling and urges her to pick her up. She says, "Up, up," and playfully grabs Maleficent’s horns.

Why is Vivienne trending?

Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is trending after publishing a legal notice in the Los Angeles Daily Journal to officially drop her father’s surname, Pitt, from her last name.

Vivienne joins her siblings, Shiloh, Zahara, and Maddox, the other children of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who have dropped their father's surname, Pitt, from their last names.

The petition was reportedly published in the Los Angeles Daily Journal once a week for four consecutive weeks, from July 24 to August 14, according to court documents cited by Page Six. Court documents said Vivienne listed personal reasons for the name change.

The notice also says anyone who wants to oppose the change can file a written objection before the final hearing on Nov. 2. Under California law, a person must run a public ad for a legal name change. Before Vivienne, Zahara and her brother Maddox also ran ads in the Los Angeles Daily Journal as part of their name-change process.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got married in 2014 in a private ceremony at Château Miraval in France after a 10-year relationship. In 2016, the actress filed for divorce from her husband, citing irreconcilable differences. The legal battle spanned more than eight years, and in December 2024, the two reached a final divorce settlement.
