Story highlights

Both the films revolve around the same topic of premature balding -- something that has been a cause of worry for the filmmakers.

The tussle between ‘Ujda Chaman’ and ‘Bala’ makers has really piqued up. After the former film’s makers took to the court to stall the release of the latter as their films deal with similar topics, ‘Ujda Chaman’ makers have now shifted their film to an earlier date.

From November 7 to November 1, ‘Ujda Chaman’ will be coming to theatres a week before its scheduled date to avoid a clash with ‘Bala’.

For those who don't remember, ‘Bala’ makers had done the same thing by preponing their release dates to November 7 from 15.

Both the films revolve around the same topic of premature balding -- something that has been a cause of worry for the filmmakers. ‘Ujda Chaman’ stars Sunny Singh, Maanvi Gagroo, Karishma Sharma and Aishwarya Sakhuja in the lead roles. It is a comedy-drama which has been directed by Abhishek Pathak.

Meanwhile, ‘Bala’ stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Bhumi Pednekar and Yami Gautam in the lead roles. It is a black comedy which has been produced by Dinesh Vijan and is directed by Amar Kaushik.
