Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal owns an impressive collection of high-end cars that would be the envy of many car enthusiasts. While he may not be the wealthiest man in India, his garage is still what billionaire dreams are made of.
According to the Hurun India Rich List 2024, Goyal's net worth is estimated at INR 9,300 crore, placing him as the second richest person in the National Capital Region city. He trails behind Nirmal Kumar Minda, the chairman and managing director of Uno Minda, whose wealth is reported to be INR 30,800 crore. Goyal's reputation as a connoisseur of luxury automobiles is well-established, and his collection reflects this passion.
A recent addition to Goyal's impressive fleet is the Bentley Continental GT Speed. This vehicle boasts a formidable 6-litre W12 engine, which is particularly notable for being handcrafted. This 12-cylinder powerplant is the second most powerful in Bentley's line-up. The Continental GT is classified as a two-door, ultra-performance grand tourer, featuring an all-wheel-drive system. True to Bentley's reputation for luxury, the Continental GT's cabin is carefully handcrafted with customised interiors. The GT Speed variant generates an impressive 641 bhp and 900 Nm of torque, channelled through an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. While its design, luxury features, and performance are certainly striking, the Monaco Yellow exterior colour ensures that this vehicle stands out even further.
Goyal also owns the first Aston Martin DB12 sold in India. This iconic grand tourer comes with a price tag exceeding INR 4.5 crore (ex-showroom). Goyal selected the legendary Satin Aston Martin Racing Green for his DB12. Although the DB12 might appear to be an evolution of its predecessor, the DB11, Aston Martin claims that approximately 80 per cent of the current model is new. It is equipped with a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 570 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. The DB12 features an 8-speed automatic transmission and can accelerate from 0 to 100 mph in just 3.5 seconds.
Another eye-catching sports car in his collection is the Porsche 911 Turbo S, which is priced at around INR 3.35 crore (ex-showroom). The current generation 911 Turbo S is powered by a 3.8-litre six-cylinder engine that delivers 641 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox. This high-performance machine boasts a top speed of 330 mph and can sprint from 0 to 100 mph in a mere 2.7 seconds, and from 0 to 200 kmph in just 8.9 seconds.
No exotic car collection would be complete without a legendary Prancing Horse from Maranello, and Goyal's garage doesn't disappoint. He is the proud owner of a Ferrari Roma, which features a 3.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 611 bhp and 760 Nm of torque. This rear-wheel-drive sports car is equipped with a dual-clutch 8-speed automatic transmission. The Ferrari Roma has a starting price of INR 3.76 crore (ex-showroom).
Recognising that a luxury car collection should include an SUV, Goyal has opted for a vehicle that combines sports car performance with SUV practicality - the Lamborghini Urus. This sleek Italian SUV is powered by a 4-liter V8 engine that generates 657 bhp and 850 Nm of torque. The Urus can reach a top speed of 306 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Pricing for the Lamborghini Urus starts at INR 4.18 crore (ex-showroom).
Goyal's diverse and impressive automobile collection shows his appreciation for engineering excellence, performance, and luxury across various prestigious automotive brands.
