US elections 2024:It’s a race that remains extremely unpredictable even as the Nov 5 D-Day looms! Most of the polls appearing in US media predict a statistically tied matchup, even in key swing states. This article mentions seven recent polls released on Sunday (Nov 3) and Monday in the US, to give you a bird’s eye view of the situation on the ground as well asthe direction in which the presidential polls seem to be heading.
HarrisX/Forbes poll: The poll was conducted between Wednesday (Oct 30) and Friday and claims that Harris leads Trump 49 per cent–48 per cent among likely voters. However, the survey showed that 16 per cent of all registered voters and 10 per cent of likely voters may yet change their minds.
PBS News/NPR/Marist survey: The poll claims Harris is leading Trump by an impressive four points. Harris stands at 51 per cent against Trump’s 47 per cent.
Morning Consult survey: This survey too shows Harris in lead by two points. (49 per cent against Trump’s 47).
ABC/Ipsos poll: The fourth poll too shows Trump trailing behind Harris by three points. Harris stands at 49 per cent whereas Trump at 46 per cent.
NBC News and Emerson College: These two polls show the race is tied, with both candidates scoring 49 per cent points each.

Yahoo News/YouGov: Just like NBC News and Emerson College, this poll too shows the race statistically locked, with both leaders standing at 47 per cent mark.
