Pakistan's violence accelerated as at least five police officials were killed and dozens injured after Pakistan Tekreek-e-Insaaf workers entered Islamabad for a protest demanding the release of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan. The PTI protesters reached Islamabad on Monday (Nov 25) despite the government's orders not to enter the capital.

Meanwhile in the US, president-elect Donald Trump announced his 'first decisions' after the election. Trump said he will impose a massive 25 per cent tariff on all products which will be imported from Mexico and Canada. 

Outgoind President Joe Biden along with First Lady Jill Biden will attend Trump's inauguration ceremony, the White House said.

Clashes break out outside Udaipur palace after new Maharana fails to get entry amid family feud

Violent clashes and stone pelting broke out in the Indian city of Udaipur on Monday (Nov 26) after BJP MLA Vishvaraj Singh Mewar was coronated as the 77th Maharana of Mewar on Monday (Nov 25). The clashes started after the BJP MLA and his supporters were denied entry inside the palace because of a stand-off with his cousin Dr Lakshay Raj Singh Mewar, who along with the Maharana's uncle Shreeji Arvind Singh Mewar manage the trust which now runs the palace.
