Cat jumps out of 5th storey window, walks off unscathed!

They say that a cat has nine lives. This cat probably just has eight left now. Today let us tell you the story of a cat who played with fire – literally in this case.

Let’s set the scene, imagine a burning building. The building in our story is in Chicago, where firefighters are frantically trying to douse the fire. There were people all around, some were documenting the whole thing when someone noticed a cat jump out of a fifth-floor window!

Yes, we are not kidding you, this heroic or stupid feat was captured on video.

In the video, you can see a black cat suddenly emerging from among the flames, and jumping to the ground, all of five stories down. On its way down the cat missed a wall, and landed squarely on its feet, in a patch of grass.

According to onlookers, the brave cat bounced once and then just walked it off, no one knows where to.

After a little while, the black feline was spotted once again, this time hiding under a fireman’s car, probably taking a little break before its next adventure. A couple of minutes later, it was back on to its task.

Having come out from under the car, it was trying to once again scale the wall and get back into the burning building. Probably wanted to go jumping again. Who knows, cats are funny creatures with minds of their own.

Since being published on social media, this cat and its jump have gone viral, and last we checked the video had over 295,000 views.

A bit of friendly advice, whatever you do, don’t show the video to your cat at home, else you never know where they’ll be bungee jumping from.
