Kapil Mishra, who was suspended from the party after he levelled corruption allegations against Delhi chief minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, was marshalled out of Assembly after a scuffle between him and other AAP MLAs. The incident occurred after the sacked Delhi water minister demanded that he be allowed to speak in the house.

Speaker Ram Niwas Goel was seen ordering Mr Mishra to leave the house. When the AAP legislators attacked Mishra, the Speaker told the marshals to escort him outside. "No maar-peet (beating) will happen here", Goel said.

Mishra later claimed he was attacked by AAP members when he tried to raise the issue of alleged corruption in the Delhi government.

"I wanted a chance to speak in the house. When I was not allowed, I demanded that a should be called at the Ram Lila ground to expose the scams of Arvind Kejriwal and Satyendra Jain (fellow minister) to keep the facts before the people. When I started speaking and took a few steps from my seat, four-five legislators started beating me," Kapil Mishra said.
