Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's daughter, Maryam Nawaz, on Friday morning, tweeted out a video of her father while on their way to the Abu Dhabi airport.

The 48-second long video features Nawaz Sharif who states that he will be taken straight to the jail and that he is returning to Pakistan for the people of the country. 

Sharif mentions that his sacrifice will be for the generations to come and that such an opportunity will not come again. "Let's build the destiny of Pakistan together," he speaks in the video. 

"I'll be taken straight to jail. But I'm doing this for people of Pak, sacrificing for generations to come. Such opportunity won't come again. Let's build destiny of Pak together," Sharif noted.

The father-daughter duo landed at Abu Dhabi airport earlier today where they are expected to get arrested by the NAB and wait for around 7 hours before being flown to Pakistan. 

Nawaz Sharif and daughter Maryam Nawaz have been accused and convicted in the Avenfield reference case. While Sharif has been sentenced for 10 years, Maryam Nawaz will be imprisoned for 7 years.
