A biomedical company is claiming that head transplants will be accessible withinthe next10 years, and their video of the hypothetical future is going viral.

BrainBridge, a neuroscience and biomedical engineering company, recently released the video demonstrating the simulation of a head transplant using Artificial Intelligence.

Thevideo has been making the rounds on social media, with netizens sharing their thoughts on the new technology.

BrainBridge'svisual depiction showed a new AI system grafting a human head onto the healthy new body of a brain-dead patient.

“The goal of our technology is to push the boundaries of what is possible in medical science and provide innovative solutions for those battling life-threatening conditions,”Hashem Al-Ghaili, project lead atBrainBridgesaid.

“Our technology promises to open doors to lifesaving treatments that were unimaginable just a few years ago,”he added.

The procedure wouldbe guidedby artificial intelligence and molecular-level imaging to ensure its success. Thehead transplant would result in smooth results and quicker recoveries, the company said in the video. Thepatient would maintain theirownawareness, memories, and cognitive abilities with this new technique.

According to researchers, this AI technology would be ideal for patients coping with conditions like paralysis,Parkinson's,Alzheimer's, and more.Toavoid human error,the company turned to artificial intelligence (AI).

“The process employs advanced high-speed robotic systems to prevent brain cell degradation and ensure seamless compatibility. Theentire procedure is guided by real-time molecular-level imaging and AI algorithms to facilitate precise reconnectionof the spinal cord, nerves, and blood vessels,"BrainBridge said in a statement.

With the goal of demonstrating the procedure on a live patient within the next eight years, BrainBridge is currently seeking to enlist the help of leading experts for this initiative.
