Another incident of triple talaq has surfaced in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli village where a man allegedly gave triple talaq to wife after she gave birth to a baby girl.

"He abused me and has asked me to get money and bike as I've given birth to a girl and not a boy," the victim was quoted by ANI.
ASP Shlok Kumar says a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
In another incident, a woman in Uttar Pradesh reported getting triple talaq over a burn chappati. The 24-year-old woman lodged a complaint with the local police last Sunday stating that her husband exclaimed 'talaq' thrice and asked her to leave the house as the chappati she had prepared got burnt.
