Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao held a meeting with Prime Minister Modi on Friday discussing various issues related to the state.
In one of his first meeting with the Prime Minister after floating the idea of a federal front, the chief minister raised various issues that have remained pending since the formation of Telangana.
The chief minister highlighted the demands that were raised during the formation of the state and were pending with the Centre four years ago.
According to a report, KCR submitted 10 memorandums to Modi, listing out various pending issues.
KCR's demand included issues relating to separate High Court for the state, speeding up state Railway Projects and release of funds for backward districts development, among others.
The chief minister's office said that the Prime Minister responded positively to the issues raised by him.
