The Gandhi scion was addressing the students of Maharani's Arts College for Women in Mysuru in Karnataka when a student asked ''Sir my request is I want to take a selfie with you''. Rahul Gandhi got off the stage and obliged to the student's request.
Earlier addressing the students, Gandhi tore into Modi led BJP government on Goods and Service Tax (GST) and demonetisation.

''I think demonetisation was a mistake and shouldn't have been done. Demonetisation and GST were massive damage to Indian economy and job creation, he said and added ''I have a problem with the way demonetisation was carried out, RBI Guv, Chief Economic Advisor, Finance Minister, none of them knew of it,'' he said.
Gandhi also said that India was growing pretty decently as an economy, but not creating jobs.

''We are growing pretty decently as an economy but we are not creating jobs, it is because those who have skills don't have access to finance and support. The problem is a huge amount of money goes to 15-20 people,'' he added.
Raking up yet again PNB's Rs 13,000 crore scame involving fugutive diamond czar, he said Nirav Modi took Rs 22,000 crore of bank money. ''Can you imagine how many businesses could have been built by young women like you if we had given Rs 22,000 cr to you,'' he asked the students.
