A sub-engineer and two construction workers were abducted by Naxals in Balrampur, Chhattisgarh on Saturday.
The Naxals also set ablaze six vehicles which were used in road construction work in the region.
The police are investigating the matter.
The abduction came after two naxals including a woman were killed in an encounter and four were arrested by security forces in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district today.
Also three naxals, including a woman, all carrying cash rewards on their heads, had surrendered in Kondagaon district in Chhattisgarh on Saturday.
