A Dalit man was allegedly thrashed for riding a motorcycle in Madhya Pradesh's Tikamgarh.
ANI reported that Dayaram Ahirwar was thrashed and casteist abuse hurled at him after he drove past the house of the village headman.
"Was going to the market and passed by Sarpanch Hemant Kurmi’s house. While returning, his men stopped me and started beating me," Dayaram said.

"They hurled casteist abuses and threatened to kill me if I ride past his house on a motorcycle again," he added.
ANI reported that four people had been arrested.
