The Indian Army will take part in the International Army Games to be held in China which will also be attended by Pakistan troops.
The games to be held in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region will be attended by troops from 26 countries.
The games initiated by the Russian defense ministry in 2015 will include teams from Belarus, Russia, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.
India's neighbour Myanmar will also be part of the games, along with Algeria, Vietnam, Sudan and the Philippines. The wargames aims to improve sharing experiences and boost training of troops.
The events will be held in the city of Korla, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from July 30 to August 12.
Russia has won all previous editions of the games with China placed second and Kazakhstan third.
