Hardik Patel says Gujarat CM asked to resign, Rupani says no

Patidar leader Hardik Patel has claimed Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has been asked to resign.
"The way Anandiben Patel was asked to resign, similarly Vijay Rupani was asked to resign in cabinet meeting yesterday," Patel told reporters in Rajkot.
Patel added Rupani's resignation would be accepted in 10 days and that someone from the Kshatriya or Patidar community would be made the next chief minister.
Rupani however dismissed the rumours.
"I have not resigned and there is no point of resigning," news reports quoted Rupani as saying.
Rupani added that Hardik had been trying to grab the media's attention since he was "losing steam." And that he (Hardik) "does not have enough knowledge that CM has to tender resignation to the governor and not to the cabinet".
