
Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju continues its dream run as it raked in Rs 265.48 crore till July 8 in its domestic collections. While Ranbir wowed the audience with his performance as Sanjay Dutt in his biopic, Sanju’s friend Kamli played by Vicky Kaushal enthralled the audience.
We informed you earlier that Vicky played the role of Sanjay Dutt’s special friend Paresh Ghelani who has remained out of the spotlight for man years. Now after watching the film, Paresh took to his social media handles to write a heartfelt note for the filmmakers and Sanjay Dutt. Paresh made his Twitter debut after the film and wrote about the inseparable bond that he shares with Sanjay Dutt. He wrote: “After watching Sanju, I was numb with limitless emotions. I just wanted to hug Sanjay, hold onto him and cry. Cry endlessly to the years we had lost, to the years we stood by and witnessed this roller-coaster ride called life and the irrevocable loss of loved ones… To the mistakes, we cannot undo, to the strength we cannot find elsewhere but in each other.”
As the world is now familiar with their bond, their story, Paresh added that Sanjay helped him become the man that he is and showed him how to get back on his feet after every fall. He described the film as an “ode” to learning from your mistakes and defining the core meaning of friendship.
Paresh further explained their friendship and wrote: “Our friendship has been exhilarating, volatile, wild and rewarding. Our journey has often been clouded in disbelief and doubt, wondering if we will make it till the end of fall into the labyrinth of tragedy and controversy. But here we are, united, unbreakable and ready for life.”
