The Air quality remained over 500 at various places in Delhi

The air quality of National Capital Region continued to be in the severe bracket as pollution level continued to rise creating emergency like situation in Delhi.

According to media reports Delhi is experiencing worst pollution levels recorded in last four years, though the scientists still have said that the worst is over and situations are likely to get improve from here.

Meteorological Department also forecasted that the dusty situation continuing from a few days now is likely to improve from today onwards.

The Air quality remained over 500 at various places in Delhi.

However, Saturday's weather remains cloudy with the mercury hitting 32.2 maximum.

Delhi High Court on Friday heard an urgent plea which dubbed the air pollution to be at the emergency-like situation.

The court is seeking answers from the Delhi government and state pollution control committee on the measures taken to curb it.

Civil construction work has also been put on halt after Lieutenant governor's order.

Meanwhile, Haryana's Pollution Control Board has also issued an advisory "that no construction activities be carried out for the next 48 hours and no Hot Mix Plants and Stone Crushers be operated for the next 48 hours, in NCR Districts of Haryana".
