New Delhi, Delhi, India
Congress on Saturday questioned the independence of Election Commission of India (ECI) after it allegedly rescheduled a press conference to announce state elections.
In a tweet, Congress chief spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala said that ECI had announced a presser at 12.30 today to announce election dates to the 5 states (the EC may announce the poll schedule for Telangana also today, along with those of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram). However, he said, the ECI suddenly changed the time of announcement and press conference to 3 pm as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing a rally in Ajmer in Rajasthan at 1 pm.
Surjewala tweet asked the readers to draw their own conclusion regarding election commission's sudden change in the press conference schedule.
3 Facts- Draw your own conclusions.

Election commission was to announce poll dates at 12.30 pm; PM to address poll rally at 1 pm in Rajasthan. What happens next? EC postpones it’s PC to 3 pm! ?
