In the double murder case of Aarushi Talwar and Hemraj, Hemraj's wife has moved to the Supreme Court on Friday to challenge the acquittal of Rajesh and Nupur Talwar, parents of Aarushi Talwar.

Aarushi's parents were acquitted by the Allahabad Court on October 12, after spending four years in Dasna jail.

The court ruled the decision on the basis of lack of evidence, and the possibility of a third person coming from the outside and committing a crime.

In May 2008, Aarushi Talwar and house help Hemraj were found dead in the Talwars' Noida residence.

Aarushi was found dead with her throat slit. The suspicion first went on Hemraj but his body was found on the terrace the day after.

Rajesh and Nupur Talwar received the death sentence by a special CBI court after the couple were convicted of the murder.

However, they challenged the decision of CBI court in the Allahabad High Court who upheld their appeal against the conviction.
