Did you know there was a time when Avengers’ star Mark Ruffalo who essays the popular character of Hulk in the franchise, complimented Irrfan Khan once for hir work? Reportedly, this was an incident that happened according to a book written on the life of the late actor -- 'Irrfan Khan: The Man, The Dreamer, The Star'.
The book states that after the success of 'Slumdog Millionaire', Irrfan having brunch with director-screenwriter Aditya Bhattacharya and producer Leslie Holleran in New York's popular restaurant when he saw Mark Ruffalo. The Bollywood star poked Aditya with his elbow and showed that Mark is on the next table with many people around him.
Irrfan was hoping to meet the Hollywood star and talk to him.
But before anyone knew it, Mark turned around and surprised him. He recognised Irrfan from the film and dropped him a compliment. According to the book, Mark said, 'Hey man, I love your work'.
