While he has been spoken in a great light for his acting skills, there’s something that he does not like in himself. In a recent interview with a health magazine, Ranbir opened up about his tendency to drink a lot, while talking about his overall health and fitness regimen.

As he spoke about his regime, he mentioned drinking as a problem. He said, “I don’t have a drinking addiction but yes I have a tendency to drink a lot. When I start, I don’t stop. I guess it’s in my blood you know how my family is. They are all very fond of alcohol. So, yes it’s in my genes to drink.”

While talking about the problem, Ranbir also mentioned how his mother Neetu Kapoor has been a positive influence in his life. He spoke at length about how she influences him and sister Riddhima.

In the same length, he mentioned how his weight keeps fluctuating according to his next film -- as roles and demands keep shifting. Like in Brahmastra he was expected to get lean while Sanju expected him to bulk up for some portions. He said, “Now I am doing a film called Bramhastra for which I need to look lean, not muscular like in Sanju.”

Ranbir will next be seen in  Ayan Mukherji’s Bramhastra in which he will be seen opposite girlfriend Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.
