Irrfan Khan returned to India last month after undergoing treatment for a neuroendocrine tumour in London. We informed you about Khan’s return as media reports stated that he will now be seen by doctors at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
While it is still uncertain whether he is still getting treated for cancer or has it been cleared off, the star was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport. Although he faced his back towards the camera and not once posed for the shutters, we know that it was him indeed.
Khan had a muffler around his neck as he sported a pink jacket and camouflage pants.
It is still unknown whether Khan was coming to the city or leaving.
Khan had revealed last March about his rare form of cancer. From London, he posted about it and wrote: “The unexpected makes us grow, which is what the past few days have been about. Learning that I have been diagnosed with the neuroendocrine tumour as of now has admittedly been difficult, but the love and strength of those around me and that I found within me has brought me to a place of hope.” Read his statement on his fight against it.
Whether Khan will return to acting or not is uncertain as the actor is still not in good shape. He was supposed to begin work on ‘Hindi Medium 2’ but producer Dinesh Vijan can’t confirm whether he is up for it yet. He said, “Right now, everything is speculation. Irrfan had just come back to town. It’s the script that is ready. Hopefully, in another month, we’ll have clarity.”
