Pixar announces Inside Out spinoff series titled Dream Productions, check more details inside

Get ready to delve into the emotional world of Inside Out! After the triumph success of Inside Out 2, the makers have a special treat formillions of fans. At the D33 Expo in Anaheim, Pixar announced a new series,Dream Productionsinthe making. The upcoming series will be released on Disney+in 2025.
At the mega event, Disney and Pixar shared the details ofthe upcoming series.
Expressing gratitude for the success of Inside Out 2, the Chief Creative Officer at Pixar Animation Studios Pete Docter said, “Thank you for making ‘Inside Out 2’ the number 1 animated film of all time.”
He added, “If you love the film as much as we do, I’ve got some great news.”

The spin-off series from Inside Out's world will take place between the first and second movie- it’s an in-betweenquel.
The upcoming series will be based on a studio where Riley’s dreams are made every night — on time and on budget. Some memories need extra processing, so they are sent to Dream Productions, and when Riley falls asleep, we see the film crew making the dreams like a film set, as per Variety.
“This is our first original series, and we wanted to do something unique and bold, unlike anything we’ve done before,” Docter said.

The new show will not take place at the headquarterswhere all emotions like Joy, Anxiety, Sadness and other emotions work. So, it's not clear whether Inside Out characters will appear in the series or not. The films starred Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, and Lewis Black as Anger, Maya Hawke as Anxiety, Ayo Edebiri as Envy, among other characters.

Released in June, Inside Out 2 is now the highest-grossing animated movie ever with an earning of $1.5 billion. Itsurpassed Disney and Pixar's movieFrozen II (2019).
