
Ratan Tata, industrialist and Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus, is no more. He passed away on Wednesday, Oct 9, at 86.
Tata has left a legacy that will be cherished for generations to come. Since the news of his death was confirmed, several prominent celebrities from around the world have mourned his demise. And, the most recent one to share his condolence is veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan.
On Thursday afternoon, megastar Amitabh Bachchan remembered the veteran industrialist as he mourned the loss of the late businessman.

Taking to his X handle, Bachchan shared a picture with Mr Tata andwrote, ''T 5159(i) – .. just came to learn of the passing of Shri Ratan Tata .. was working very late .. An era has ended .. a most respected, humble yet visionary leader of immense foresight and resolve .. Spent some wonderful moments with him, during several Campaigns we were involved in together .. My prayers .”
Big B and MrTata share a very special connection. The late tycoon, who invested in several fields and had various business ventures, also entered the film business. During his lifetime, he produced only one film, which starred Bachchan.

In 2004, he co-produced a film titled Aetbaar. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, the psychological thriller starred Amitabh, Bipasha Basu and John Abraham.
Apart from the movies, Amitabh and Tata have collaborated on several social causes and philanthropic campaigns.
