Hyundai’s global chief operating officer, Jose Munoz, confirmed that the 2025 IONIQ 5 would be the first model produced at Hyundai’s new $7.6 billion EV plant in Georgia. Vehicles built at this facility are expected to qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit, making them more accessible to American consumers.
