US Elections: Harris hits back at Trump's vow to protect women 'whether they like it or not'

US Presidential nominee Kamala Harris hit back at Republican nominee Donald Trump after he vowed to "protect" women "whether the women like it or not" at a rally in Wisconsin on Wednesday (Oct 30).
Less than a week is left for the US presidential elections, with Harris and Trump making their final pitches and arguments to win people's hearts.
“I’m going to do it, whether the women like it or not. I’ve got to protect them. I’m going to protect them from migrants coming in. I’m going to protect them from foreign countries that want to hit us with missiles and lots of other things," Trump said at a rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Harris took to social media and said, "Donald Trump thinks he should get to make decisions about what you do with your body. Whether you like it or not.”
A Harris campaign spokesperson, Sarafina Chitika, also shared a post on social media, saying that Trump "thinks he knows better than the women of America."

Further, as the statements got heated up, Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt said, "Harris may be the first woman Vice President but she has implemented dangerously liberal policies that have left women worse off financially and far less safe than we were four years ago under President Trump."
"Women deserve a President who will secure our nation’s borders, remove violent criminals from our neighborhoods, and build an economy that helps our families thrive — and that’s exactly what President Trump will do," Leavitt added.
