Three terrorists and one policeman have been killed in an encounter in Anantnag's Srigufwara encounter, according to a police officer. The encounter is still underway, he added.
''The encounter started in early hours of the morning. There was information about 3-4 terrorists' presence. Three bodies (of terrorists) are being retrieved. One Policeman is reportedly martyred and 2 civilians are injuries,'' news agency ANI reported quoting Jammu and Kashmir DGP S P Vaid.
According to Vaid, the slain terrorists were affiliated to Islamic State of Jammu and Kashmir (ISJK).
Meanwhile, internet services have been suspended in Srinagar and Anantnag due to an ongoing encounter in Anantnag's Srigufwara area.
A gunfight broke out between the security forces and militants on Friday morning.
Police said security forces laid a cordon around Srigufwara village following specific information about the presence of militants there.
