India's Manushi Chhillar was on Saturday won the prestigious Miss World 2017 title at a glittering ceremony in China's Sanya city.
Her achievement comes 16 years after Priyanka Chopra won the title at the 2000 pageant.

The 20-year-old from Haryana, born to doctor parents, competed with more than 100 contestants from across the world to win the crown.
A trained Indian classical dancer, Manushi also enjoys painting and hopes to open a chain of non-profit hospitals in rural areas, according to the Miss World website.
"Thank you, everyone, for your constant love, support," and prayers she wrote on Twitter. "This one's for India."
Manushi studied at Delhi's Thomas School and Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women in Sonepat, Haryana.
Priyanka Chopra congratulated Manushi on Twitter.
As did Haryana chief minister ML Khattar, who wrote,"Many many congratulations to Haryana's daughter ManushiChhillar on becoming Miss World 2017.
