Girlfriend tells man to kill his wife and children, and he does

In a shocking piece of news from Hyderabad, a southern Indian city, a man reportedly killed his wife and two young children because his girlfriend asked him to do so. The man remained free, going about his job as usual for 45 days. Since the police had registered a case of an accident, and he wasn't contacted in the days that followed, he believed that he was not even a suspect in the case. Reports suggest that he continued to live with his girlfriend after murdering his family.
Praveen, a physiotherapist, had an affair with Soni Francis, a nurse at the Germanten Hospital in the Attapur area of Hyderabad where he was also employed. He allegedly killed his 29-year-old wife Kumari and daughters Krishika (5) and Kritika (3) after his girlfriend asked him to do so. On May 28, he gave a high-dose anaesthetic injection to his wife and then suffocated his two daughters sitting in the front seat of a car by covering their noses and mouths.
He set it up to appear like a car accident and then continued to live his life as normal with Soni. Kondal Rao, SHO of Raghunathapalem Police Station of Khammam District said that Praveen got treated for minor injuries and went back to Hyderabad. He was arrested 48 days after the murders.

How did Praveen get caught?
However, needle marks on his wife's body made the police suspicious, especially since no other injuries were found on the bodies of Kumari and the kids. An investigation team visited the site of the crime and found that it wasn't a very serious accident. The car was searched and an empty syringe was discovered. It was sent to the forensic laboratory for further investigation and proved to be a crucial clue.

All this time, Praveen lived in a rented house with his girlfriend. Police said that he didn't show any remorse for his actions.
The forensic report of the syringe proved to be the final nail in the coffin and Praveen was arrested from the Attapur area of Hyderabad.
