
The YSR Congress on Thursday appeared on course for an overwhelming victory in Andhra Pradesh with its candidates leading in 150 seats.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy on the "remarkable" win in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls.
"Congratulations on the remarkable win in Andhra Pradesh. Best wishes to you for a successful tenure," Modi said.
The state results have spelt a knockout blow to the Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party.
Meanwhile, in Odisha, incumbent Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is also set for another term.
The Biju Janata Dal, at the moment, leads in over 100 seats in the 147-member House.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Patnaik on the win.

"Congratulations to Naveen Babu for yet another victory in Odisha. Wishing him the very best for the next term," PM's tweet read.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has overtaken the tally board in the Lok Sabha polls results, maintaining a strong lead in over 340 seats.
