<p>In what could be an unprecedented move, Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy Friday decided to have five deputy CMs under him in a full 25-member Cabinet.</p>

<p>The new Council of Ministers will be constituted at a public function in Amravati on&nbsp;Saturday.</p>

<p>The Chief Minister held a meeting of the YSR Congress Legislature Party at his residence in the morning where he announced the decision to appoint five deputy chief ministers.</p>

<p>Accordingly, one each from SC, ST, BC, minority and Kapu communities would be made deputy CMs.</p>

<p>He also told his legislators that the Cabinet would predominantly comprise members from the weaker sections, contrary to expectations that the Reddy community would get a lion's share.</p>

<p>He said the Cabinet would be reconstituted two and a half years later after a mid-term review of the government's performance.</p>

<p>In the previous N Chandrababu Naidu government, one each from, Kapu and BC communities was made deputy chief minister.</p>

<p>The YSRCP stormed to power with a landslide victory winning&nbsp;151 out of 175 seats in the state Assembly and 22 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha elections.</p>

Meanwhile, word spread that the ruling Telugu Desam party led by Chandrababu had settled for a special package to the state instead of special category status. YS Jagan during the course of his Padayatra in the state stressed upon the benefits the state could receive from being granted special category status, in public rallies and interactive meetings. In contrast, Chandrababu maintained that SCS to AP was no sanjeevini (magic cure) and that the issue was a closed chapter.</p>

<p>After the TDP made only token statements on SCS to AP now and then, without doing anything concrete on the issue, YS Jagan decided to take the next step by announcing his decision to not only move a no-trust vote in the Parliament but also let his MPs resign if the Centre didn&#39;t deliver what was promised at the time of AP bifurcation.</p>
