The wait is finally over! Those who missed Disney Pixar's Inside Out 2 in the theatres, can watch the movie onOTT.

After a triumphant success at the box office, the sequel will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on September 25.

Directed by Kelsey Mann, the coming-of-age comedy-drama was released in theatres worldwide on June 14.

On Friday, the makers made the big announcement. Sharing the poster of the movie, they wrote, ''Contain your emotions, because #InsideOut2 is coming to #DisneyPlusHotstar in Hindi & English on 25th September!''

The movie will be available in English and Hindi on the platform.

Inside Out 2's glorious run at Box Office

Inside Out 2 is now the highest-grossing animated movie ever with an earning of $1.46 billion at the global box office. The movie achieved this milestone by dethroning the 2019 movie Frozen 2.

Not only this but the movie has also become the top-performing movie of this year, surpassing Dune: Part Two, which earned $282 million domestically and $711 million worldwide.

The record-breaking success was much-needed for movie theatres, especially after a dim start of the summer movie season. Not only theatres, but the movie has brought much-needed joyto Pixar's office, which was witnessinglowbox office numbers despite several criticallyacclaimed movies.

The second part of the movie, which came ten years after the release of the predecessor, takes the audience back into the world of Riley, who is now a teenager. The movie revolves around 13-year-old Riley's emotions, who is now ahigh school student and has newchallenges and emotions including anxiety and envy.

Directed by Kelsey Mann, the sequel delves deeper intohuman emotions. "Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who've long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren't sure how to feel when Anxiety, Envy, Ennui and Embarrassment show up," read the film's synopsis.
