The world of Marvel's The Fantastic Four is expanding. The new addition to the cast of the show is actress Natasha Lyonne. However, what role she will play has been kepta secret.

Lyonne has cemented her place in the showbiz world with her entertaining performances. She has starred in projects like Russian Doll, Poker Face, Orange Is the New Black. It’s not clear who Lyonne will portray in the comic book adventure.

The Fantastic Four has been one of the highly-anticipated Marvel projects. Directed by Matt Shakman, the movie is expected to go on the floors in summer in England this year.

Natasha has joined the superhero movie with a huge ensemble cast including Pedro Pascal (Narcos, The Mandaloria), and Vanessa Kirby (Mission: Impossible, Nepolean) among others.

In the movie, Pascal will play the role of scientist Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic, Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richards’ pal Ben Grimm/The Thing and Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal, a version of the Silver Surfer character.

Ralph Ineson will play the antagonist, Galactus. Paul Walter Hauser and John Malkovich are also part of the movie.

While the exact details have been kept a secret, as perreports, the movie, based on the story of Marvel's first family, is set in the 1960s.

The script is penned by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer, with Peter Cameron.

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige is producing the film

Releasing on July 25, 2025, the movie will mark the start of Marvel Phase 6.
