“The house owner informed me about the presence of snakes and I reached the spot. I found that many snakes were crawling at the place,” said the snake rescuer, as quoted by ANI.

He added, “I recovered around 35 snakes crawling from a newly constructed toilet of the house. Later, I released the snakes in the Joisagar Dalani area.”

According to a report by India Today NE, Deka said there was little cause for alarm after he identified the hatchlings. He noted that the snake had laid eggs in the bathroom which had hatched.

However, the members of the household were reportedly on edge, while the owner of the house avoided food and tea following the discovery.

Last month, Deka rescued a massive King Cobra, affectionately named ‘Fenty Snake Dal,’ from inside an abandoned well.

He then reportedly coordinated with the local forest department and managed to release the snake into its natural habitat.
