Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in poll-bound Tripura to address two rallies at Santirbazar and Agartala on the penultimate day of campaigning for the February 18 Assembly elections.
Addressing a gathering at Santirbazar in Tripura, the Prime Minister said, "Communist Party does not believe in 'gantantra' they believe in violence and 'gun-tantra'. Left party in Tripura does not believe in democracy. What they believe in is violence."
"People of Tripura have suffered for 25 years due to the misrule of Left party. I urge people of the state to remove them from power," Modi said during the rally.
"What is the reason that Left government in Tripura is neither ensuring the minimum wages and nor implementing the recommendations of seventh pay commission," Modi asked.
Dismissing Congress in the election Modi told paid that Congress and Left parties are the two faces of the same coin. "They are only a vote katau party. What is this that they are friends in Delhi but faking a combat in Tripura," Modi said.
Bringing up the alleged killings of BJP workers, Modi said, "Left leaders are under a lot of pressure sensing defeat. They have only enjoyed the perks of power for 20 years, now it is time to give answers.
