The scheme, as proposed by the Delhi government, will be rolled out on Monday.
During the scheme, cars with number plates ending with an odd number will be allowed to ply only on odd dates (1, 3, 5 etc). And vice-versa with cars with number plates ending with an even number.
While giving its nod, the NGT added that there would be no exemptions for two-wheelers, women, or government servants, as was the case the last time the scheme was rolled out.
