Elon Musk didn’t like being impersonated. Dana Carvey did an Elon Musk impression on Saturday Night Live, showing how ecstatic the Tesla CEO was while campaigning for Trump.
Miffed with Dana Carvey’s impression of him, Elon took to X and wrote, “Dana Carvey just sounds like Dana Carvey.” Musk shared a clip of SNL’s episode where Dana was seen in an attire like Elon Musk, wearing a“dark MAGA” hat. He is seen jumping up and down chanting, “USA! USA!”

Responding to another post on X about the gothic Trump hat making it onto “SNL,” Musk wrote, “They are so mad that @realDonaldTrump won.”

Elon Musk’s rant didn’t just stop there. Elon had hosted Saturday Night Livein May 2021. Taking a dig at the show, Musk further wrote, “SNL has been dying slowly for years, as they become increasingly out of touch with reality. Their last-ditch effort to cheat the equal airtime requirements and prop up Kamala before the election only helped sink her campaign further.”
Interestingly, Dana Carvey has mostly played Joe Biden on the show. He spent the first five episodes of SNL playing former President Joe Biden. As the SNL cast showered sarcastic praise on President-elect Donald Trump, Carvey entered the stage sporting Musk’s signature black-on-black wardrobe and MAGA hat.
In the episode, Dana jumped up and down and said, “Check it out: dark MAGA. Yeah! But seriously, I run the country now. America’s going to be like one of my rockets. They’re super cool and super fun, but there’s a slight chance it could blow up and everybody dies. Haha!”
Staying in character, Dana then copied how Musk chanted “USA. USA” during one of Trump’s rallies and said, “See you in the White House!”
