Hina Khan exudes strength amid stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis: ‘This too shall pass’

Indian actress Hina Khan received a tonne of love and support from her fans and colleagues after she opened up about her breast cancer stage 3 diagnosis via a social media post on Friday.
Reacting to the outpour of supportive texts, Hina took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday and wrote, "This too shall pass," along with a smile and heart emojis. She also tagged Sanju's song "Kar Har Maidaan Fateh".
On Friday, Hina shocked her fans by revealing that she is battling with stage 3 breast cancer. In a long note, she reassured everyone that she was doing well and that her treatment had started. She also requested for respect and privacy in this difficult phase of her life.
"Hello Everyone, To address the recent rumour, I want to share some important news with all the Hinaholics and everyone who loves and cares for me. I have been diagnosed with stage three breast cancer. Despite this challenging diagnosis, I wish to reassure everyone that I am doing well. I am strong, determined and fully committed to overcoming this disease. My treatment has already begun and I am ready to do everything necessary to emerge from this even stronger," the note read.

Khan shot to fame with her role as Akshara Maheshwari Singhania in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in 2009. She left the Indian soap opera in 2016 and started exploring other projects. In 2017, she participated in Bigg Boss 11 as a contestant and bagged the 1st runner-up title. She later featured in shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Naagin 5, Shadyantra and more.
