Was United States President Joe Biden secretly rooting for his Republican rival Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential race and weighing down his own Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign? Donald Trump Jr remarked Thursday (Nov 7) that Biden was looking ‘happiest’ he has been in recent months. “The only person happier than me this morning has to be Joe Biden,” he posted on X. His comments came after Biden addressed the nation following Trump’s victory and promised a peaceful and orderly transfer of power.

Some meanwhile were left startled to see a Biden, who had been in news of late for his sloppy posture, delivering his speech with calmness and peace. An energetic Biden declared, “Remember, a defeat does not mean we are defeated." It was a six-minute speech, and the news is that it went without gaffes, bloopers and oops moments! People were quick to observe this change.

"Joe Biden is super sharp all of a sudden," one user remarked.

A second user wrote, "Biden wasn't sleepy and sloppy as usual, but quite energetic and articulate".

Others noted how the US president didn’t stutter in his speech, looked normal, pronounced each word right and looked completely fine. Some said it looked like Democrats got the Biden that they wanted before the polls.

People were quick to draw comparisons with Biden’s embarrassing performance against Trump in the first 2024 presidential debate. The fiasco eventually led Biden to withdraw from the race and pave the way for VP Harris to step in.
