
American rapper Lil B has been banned from Facebook for 30 days for violating the social media platform's hate speech policies.
As reported by website Motherboard, the "offending posts were deleted from the platform".
On Sunday, Lil B tweeted that he was bannedfor "talking about white people" on the site and wrote about howhis views were misconstrued as hate speech by Facebook:
On Twitter and Facebook both, the rapper has recently called out everything from the double standards around visual codes for "threatening" and "safe" in society, to the legacy of slave ownership in the US.
