Viraj Madappa leads his team to victory at Pro-Am event of Bengal Open Golf Championship 2019

Professional golfer Viraj Madappa led his team to victory at the Pro-Am event of the Bengal Open Golf Championship 2019. 

Viraj's team, which comprised of amateurs Sarvesh Kumar, Rishad Chinoy and Sameer Bahri, posted a score of 54.1. 

Rakshik Basu was given the prize for the longest drive on hole number 10 for landing it at a distance of 280 yards. 

While contest for the Incredible India closest to the pin on hole number 11 was won by Shiv Mohan who landed it within three feet of the pin. 

Joydeep Dutta Gupta won the contest for the straightest drive on hole number one. 

His drive landed on the line which defined the centre of the fairway. 

On the other hand, Delhi-based professional Honey Baisoya and his team comprising of amateurs Dipak Barma, Partha Barman and Harsh Jhunjhunwala were the runners-up. 

Baisoya's team scored 54.4 at the event.
