The Pro-Am event of the Pune Open Golf Championship 2019, played at the Poona Club Golf Course, was won by professional Sachin Baisoya and his team.
The Pro-Am was played in the Team Scramble format where the best ball was chosen on every shot.
Delhi-based professional Sachin Baisoya led his team to victory in the Pro-Am event. Baisoya's team accumulated a score of 50.7 and comprised of amateurs Pankaj Sharma, Siddharth Kulkarni and C J Francis.
Noida-based professional Amardip Malik helped his team finish second with a score of 54.2. Malik's team comprised of amateurs Neeraj Sharma, Gaurav Chaphalkar and Satish Shitut.
The prize for the closest to the pin on hole number 2 was won by Jayant Thorat whose shot landed 30.5 feet from the hole.
The Incredible India Closest to the Pin contest on hole number 16 was won by Hrishikesh Kanitkar whose shot landed 10 feet from the hole.
The prize for the straightest drive on hole number 14 was won by Kashish Patel who landed it at a distance of two feet from the centre of the fairway.
The prize for the longest drive on hole number 3 was won by Piyush Khare who landed it at a distance of 290 yards.
