Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan came under fire of trolls on social media on Wednesday as he shared an "inspirational" quote on Twitter.

The quote shared by Khan on Twitter read, "I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is a joy."

"Those who discover and get to understand the wisdom of Gibran's words cited below, get to live a life of contentment," Khan wrote in the caption.

Under the text, the quote was attributed to Lebanese author and poet, Kahlil Gibran. Twitterati started trolling Pakistan Prime Minister claiming that it belongs to the Nobel laureate and Indian writer Rabindranath Tagore.

As Khan shared the quote, people in no time started trolling the Pakistan prime minister.

This is not the first time Imran Khan has come under the fire of Twitterati. In April, Khan was trolled as he mixed up island nation in East Asia, Japan with France while he was addressing a gathering.  He was giving an example of how the country set up joint industries in the border region to strengthen economic ties with Germany.

After the second world war, France and Germany joined the hands to lay the foundation of the European Union.

Last year in December, Khan had called Africa an "emerging country" at the foreign envoys' conference.
