As per PTI, Anup Dutta has close ties with the primary accused, Sanjay Roy, who was a police volunteer at a police post near the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. This test will aid the CBI in finding whether Anup Dutta helped Roy or not. The ASI, Anup Dutta, is facing allegations that he helped the primary accused, Sanjay Roy, gain access to police headquarters and motorcycle, as he is not entitled to any of these services as a police volunteer.
Officials told PTI on Tuesday that Dutta was allegedly helping Roy, and the central agency is trying to find out whether Roy told Dutta about the crime and received any favours from him. The polygraph test will help the CBI to assess the inaccuracies and discrepancies in the statements of suspects.
